C L A S S D E S C R I P T I O N S :
HEATED VINYASA (All Levels) : Vinyasa Yoga is linking powerful breath with the dynamic movements of the body. This series of flow cultivates strength, flexibility, balance, focus and endurance. It is an energetic practice that tones the entire body as well as disciplining the mind. The room is warmed to 95 degrees with 60% humidity. Open to all levels of students, These classes will leave you feeling light and open to possibilities.
SLOW FLOW (All Levels) : In this class we will practice postures (asana), conscious breathing (Pranayama), and relaxation techniques to develop strength, flexibility, balance and well being. No prior experience is necessary. This is an all-levels class - particularly great for beginners.
WARM POWER FLOW (ALL Levels): A 75 degree strength based vinyasa flow class. Similar to our hot classes, a challenging practice rooted in dynamic movement, cultivating strength, mobility, balance, and full body focus. Powerful without the heat.
YIN (All Levels) : Yin yoga, a non-heated class, is a form of yoga that is quiet and inwardly focused. The postures, mostly targeting the low back and hips, are all practiced on the floor with the support of props (bolsters, blankets, and blocks) and are held for 3 to 5 minutes allowing you to reach deep into the connective tissues and the joints. This type of yoga can help you access new depths in postures, deeper ranges of motion, or an increased flow of energy. Many students find Yin Yoga to be the perfect complement and balance to their more active, yang practices (such as Power Vinyasa). Yin Yoga is a practice everyone can enjoy and also a great place for beginners to start.
RESTORATIVE (All Levels) : This class is appropriate for students seeking the benefits of a very relaxing, gentle, and nourishing practice. The combination of gentle hatha and restorative poses along with pranayama ( breathing techniques) will improve range of motion and joint mobility while reducing pain and the effects of stress. Restorative yoga poses require no muscular exertion; each pose is held for several minutes and deeply supported by props – blankets, bolsters, and blocks. Gentle/Restorative yoga is a great addition to a beginner or seasoned practitioner and will leave you feeling calm and grounded.

New to yoga? We love beginners! Here’s what you need to know.
For beginners, Yoga is not about being flexible from the get go - we can help get you there! Developing a yoga practice is about strengthening your body and your spine with the goal of creating a union between mind, body, and spirit. Each pose lengthens and strengthens your muscles, joints, and ligaments together simultaneously to release toxins and create space for growth & positive change.
For your first class, all that matters is that you attempt the postures without pushing yourself beyond your initial capabilities, introduce yourself to the movements. In a heated class, the warmth in the studio assists you to get into the postures more deeply and effectively, allowing advanced poses to happen sooner as your body becomes more flexible. Many poses are physically challenging but the heat allows you to get into a pose you perhaps never imagined you could. Yoga works its wonders not only on your muscles but also your internal organs. Like thousands before you, you will likely find that practicing yoga in the heated room creates a satisfying and addictive feeling of achievement.
If you are unsure of your reaction to the heat give a non-heated class a try. Slow flow classes can offer a gentler introductory to the poses without the sweat induced experience. Choose the class that suits your personal needs, we have something for everyone! If you’re not sure, ask, we’re happy to give you guidance to find the best fit for you.
Simply show up and do what you can- there is no judgement or expectations. Our yoga instructor team is here to support you on your journey, wherever you’re at. With time, your body and mind will experience growth and transformation. We are here for you every step of the way.
All classes are open for drop in, but we recommend that you preregister online and reserve your space.
Mat and yogitoe towel rentals are available for $2 each -- hand towel rentals $1
